Pritchard photograph collection consists of photos of the career of cavalry officer Pritchard between about 1891 and 1918. The heaviest coverage is of the 9th U.S. Cavalry between 1896 and 1900. Coverage of activities of the 5th U.S. Cavalry is not quite as extensive and covers the 1901 to 1905 period. The photos dating between 1906 and 1918 are either photos of Army posts, buildings, etc. or of Captain Pritchard and his family. The 1950 photo is of his grandson, Lieutenant Colonel G.B. Pritchard, III.
